Quick Facts
Role: Creative Direction / Digital Experience Design
Client: AT&T
Context: Smith agency work
Domain: Telecommunications, brand systems, digital experience, large-scale consumer and business communications
Focus: Creative direction, UX-informed digital design, brand storytelling, content structure, visual systems, stakeholder alignment
Audience: Consumer, business, and internal/brand audiences depending on initiative
Overview
AT&T Brand Studio was part of my large-brand digital experience work through Smith, where I contributed to creative direction, UX-informed design, and brand system thinking for major client initiatives.
The work required balancing brand consistency, digital usability, stakeholder needs, and clear communication across a large telecommunications brand. It is strongest as evidence of working within a major brand environment where design decisions needed to support both customer understanding and business goals.
Challenge & Approach
Large telecommunications brands have complex communication needs across products, services, audiences, campaigns, and internal stakeholder groups. The challenge was to create digital and brand experiences that felt consistent, credible, and easy to understand while still supporting specific initiative goals.
My approach focused on clear information hierarchy, strong visual direction, brand-system consistency, and UX-informed digital execution. I worked to make complex communication more structured and usable while maintaining the level of polish expected from a major national brand.
The work connected creative direction, digital experience design, brand standards, and practical implementation needs in a large-brand agency context.
This work supports my broader experience leading digital and creative direction for major brands, connecting brand systems, UX thinking, stakeholder alignment, and business communication.
